Great News for VA borrowers-Bond Money Available
Because of the Hero's Act signed into effect by the President on June 17, 2008, borrowers who are veterans do not have to be first time home buyers in order to qualify for the Bond Money that is being issued on Tuesday, June 24, 2008. This money can only be used to purchase a home rather than a refinance.
The funds are reserved on a first come-first served basis to buyers who have qualified for an applicable loan program AND who currently have a home under contract to purchase and close within the next 45 days.
